McAuley Recital

On June 15, Jada, Maggie, and Jackson had a piano recital.

Maggie's Softball

Conveniently, we had just enough time to get from Bauer's game to Maggie's.

Her batting was pretty good, but

as pitcher, she had several strikeouts, and

at third base, she has a strong arm and accurate throw.

Bauer's Baseball

On Monday, we went to Bauer's baseball game.

It was "coach-pitch," but he played "pitcher" (above), first base, second base, and short stop.

He's also a pretty good hitter.  Here, he gets a double.

And, he has what Jackson calls a "rock star slide."

Front Wall

We've finally started working on the front of our house.

We had all the concrete and railroad ties pulled out,

the extra dirt moved to the back yard,

and a rock wall built --

with steps.

We also had a rock wall built in the back so that, with the extra dirt, we can finally make that useless slope useful.

Draeden's Birthday

For Draeden's birthday activity, he wanted to go to an amusement center.

It had all kinds of games and

a buffet.

Liam's Graduation

Liam graduated from preschool today.

They sang a couple of songs (that's Liam on the back row, 4th from the right in a white shirt and red tie) and

and each received a diploma.

Jada's Softball

On Jada's birthday, she had a softball game.

She got a hit every time at bat and

played first base (#7).

For Jada's birthday,

we went to a movie,

then ate at Chuck-a-Rama.
